After your 24 hours is up, follow these steps for the next 6 days:
Clean brows with a cotton ball/round and distilled water or a light dial foam soap morning & night. Apply ointment on brows as needed. Especially if brows are itchy, flakey, scabbing, or before you get in water contact to the face. The ointment will act as a protectant. When applying ointment make sure hands are washed with soap and water and only use a rice 🌾 size amount, applying with a cotton swab. DO NOT OVER SATURATE BROWS.
If you are feeling discomfort after your procedure you can apply ice packs to your brows or take Aleve to help with the pain.

After your 6-week touchup is complete your brows will last between 1-3 years, it is all dependent on how your body metabolizes the pigment. It’s always recommended to come in once a year to see how your brows are doing and if it is time for your annual color boost.

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances your natural features, such as brows, lips, or eyes. Unlike traditional tattoos, the pigments are designed to fade gradually over time for a natural look.
-
Combo Brows: A mix of hair strokes and shading for a natural yet defined look.
Nano Brows: Ultra-fine hair strokes for a very realistic, natural effect.
Powder Brows: Soft, powdered shading for a filled-in makeup look.
Ombre Brows: Gradient shading that’s darker at the tail and lighter at the front for a soft, blended finish.

An initial brow appointment takes between 2-3 hours. The whole first hour is dedicated to mapping the perfect shape for your face and desired look. We want everything to be perfect so we dedicate a lot of time for this. The actual cosmetic tattooing take between 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the style you choose.
Your 6-week touchup takes much less time since we do not have to map, we are just touching up areas that need it. This procedures take about 1.5 hours.

Permanent makeup is often called semi-permanent because it is designed to gradually fade over time, creating a soft, natural look rather than the bold, lifelong appearance of traditional tattoos. Permanent makeup though is still very much permanent!
All tattooing involves placing pigment into the dermal (middle) layer of the skin, which has two layers: the papillary dermis (superficial) and the reticular dermis (deeper). Traditional tattoos deposit pigment into the deeper reticular layer, while permanent makeup is carefully implanted into the more superficial papillary layer. This allows the pigment to naturally fade over time, giving the illusion of fully natural brows.
The type of pigment we use also contributes to this effect. PMU pigments are made from iron oxide, a naturally occurring substance in the body. This not only reduces the risk of allergic reactions but also helps achieve a soft, natural appearance that blends seamlessly with your own brows.
